"I DON'T WANNA GET OLDER"

before i ramble on, lemme just start by saying where the title of this blog came from. my bff's boyfriend is a hot ass rapper and that's the title of one of his songs that i like, and it definately summarizes how i think this summer is gonna go. wow, since i haven't updated all weekend, i gotta summarize the events. friday was full of crying and bittersweet memories as we had our day-before-last day with the seniors. all my friends were seniors so it was very hard for me to say goodbye. after a night of dancing and karaoke with the girls, we stayed up all night in the dorms just geekin. then came saturday and there was one thing: tears. lots and lots of tears. i'm not really much of a crying person but i cried a lot because 1.) there not gonna be there next year in school with me anymore and 2.) i'm a SENIOR!!!!!!!! AHHHH it hasn't sunken into me yet but i'm a senior.......it's scary....idon'twannagetolder.

saturday when i got home, the first person i saw was janell. we drove around for a while and jordan had a sweet 16 to perform at so we went to support them. big ups to him. after that, i went to my cousin jennifer's 17th birthday "event" which consisted of lots of dancing, *drinking* which i honestly didn't partake in, and just pure craziness. my night ended around 3. then came sunday. once again, lex, toya, and i tried to make our "park date" occur. it kinda did, but not how it was really planned. damn those kids don't like to share swings.....especially this real fat girl who DIDNOTWANNAMOVEE! ugh, idontwannagetolder. after the park, toya and i had our "mini-date" in which we strolled around 40th street, not on no hype ghetto black teenage-girl stuff, justchilled. it was pretty cool and we had nice discussions and i found out that John Legend went to UPenn. ah, that's good to know. and as i type this, i eat my usual breakfast when i'm home of french toast sticks!! however, mom let me down this morning because we ran outta syrup so i had to eat it dry....it's all good. the breakfast i loved as a child still remains..and yet still, i don't wanna get older. SIKE! i do. getlikesmash.
